WinRAR
WinRAR is a great archive program developed by Alexander Roshal and distributed by WinRar GmbH. It's the only archive program we ever use these days. WinRAR is powerful, yet easy to use, very fast and achieves excellent compression ratios. It handles ZIP and RAR files as well as UNIX .tar.gz and many other formats. Versions are available for many different operating systems and in 35 languages.
We use WinRAR's self-extracting executable (SFX) feature for installing jwSpamSpy and jwFTP, our own software products.
There is a free trial version available for download. A single user license, which includes free lifetime updates, is US$29.
